Gmail offers manual POP mail refresh now!

Head to your Labs settings and enable the “Refresh POP accounts” lab, then hit “Save changes” at the bottom or top of the page. From then on, you’ll see a “Refresh” link to the right of your inbox buttons. Hit it and Gmail will poll any email accounts you've set it up to fetch from. [Gmail Removes “On Behalf Of” For Real This Time – Annoyances – Lifehacker]

Not sure how many people use Gmail to manage all their mails. In case, you’re like me who receive and send your mail from multiple accounts via Gmail, you’d probably be glad to know Gmail now sends it properly through your non-Gmail account’s STMP server now. No longer will your blah@domain.com mail declare they’re sent via gmail.
