My love will get you home

If you wander off too far, my love will get you home

If you follow the wrong star, my love will get you home

If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone

Get back on your feet and think of me

My love will get you home, boy

My love will get you home

If the bright lights blind your eyes, my love will get you home

If your troubles break your stride, my love will get you home

If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone

Get back on your feet and think of me

My love will get you home, boy

My love will get you home

If you ever feel ashame, my love will get you home

When there’s only you to blame, my love will get you home

If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone

Get back on your feet and think of me

My love will get you home, boy

My love will get you home

If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone

Get back on your feet and think of me

My love will get you home, boy

My love will get you home, boy

My love will get you home

The Future of Combat in Games

This is a look at the combat in the upcoming Spider-Man game subtitled Web of Shadows. It looks pretty cool and they’re right at how they’ve mixed movement with fighting in 3D space. I believe the slight delay in action while the player is given time to make his decision is a decent trade-off for making Spidey fight how you imagine he would. This is pretty innovative with how all the games these days simply loop through animation cycles for combat. It may not perfect the whole flow but I surely want to see how games moving towards that direction.

Closing the Gap between Game and Anime

Some games, Dragonball Budokai series come to mind, attempted cell-shading technique to their art style but something always looks odd somehow. This trailer of the latest Naruto game caught my eye and it pretty much looks like what the anime looks like. If these are indeed in-game shots, I must say it looks pretty sweet. I like the evening scene of Sasuke fighting Kakashi, everything dyed yellow by the setting sun. Only problem is this will probably have the same gameplay and storyline as the past X number of Naruto fighters. [via Kotaku]
